お経会の流れ
Event date: 14th of every month

※ Closed in July and August during the Obon period-It’s a time when families honor the spirits of their ancestors
※ 7月・8月はお盆期間のためお休みいたします
Participation Offering: ¥1,000 (¥500 for high school students and younger)
参加冥加料：1,000円（高校生以下500円）
All tools and materials for sutra copying, Buddha tracing, and bead making are provided by the temple.
※写仏・写経や数珠作りの道具等はお寺でご用意いたします。
Since April 2023, our monthly Shakyō-kai (sutra copying gathering) held on the 14th has been renewed as the “Okyō-kai” (Sutra Meeting).
令和5年4月より、毎月14日にお勤めしておりました写経会を「お経会」と改めました。
Participants chant sutras together and then spend a peaceful time at the temple, engaging in activities such as Buddha tracing, sutra copying, making prayer beads, or creating charms.
集まった方と一緒に御経を読んでいただき、写仏・写経、数珠作りやお守り作りなど思い思いにお寺での時間をお過ごしいただけます。
At the end of the session, tea and sweets will be served — please relax and enjoy chatting with others.
会の終わりにはお茶菓子の用意がございますので、皆様とお話ししながらひと休みなさってください。
Everyone is welcome — whether you come alone, with family, or with friends.
おひとりでも、ご家族・お友達とご一緒でも、どなたさまもお気軽にご参加ください。
9:30 – Reception opens
受付開始
10:00 – Sutra chanting (approx. 10 minutes)
読経（約10分）
Sutra books will be provided. Please chant together.
経本をお貸しいたします。ご一緒にお唱えください。
10:10 – Free time for sutra copying, Buddha tracing, reading, or making prayer beads.
写経・写仏や読書、数珠作りなど自由にお過ごしください。
When you finish, please offer your completed work at the altar.
写経・写仏を終えられましたら、各自で仏前に用紙をお供えください。
11:00 – Group chanting of the Nenbutsu together.
ご一緒にお念仏をお唱えいたします。
Praying Buddha with offering incense is also welcome.
よろしければお焼香もお供えください。
11:10 – Tea and sweets will be served. Please take a moment to relax.
お茶とお菓子をお出ししますので、ひと休みなさってください。
On request, you can also experience sutra copying or bead making on other days besides the 14th.
※14日以外も、ご希望があればお経会と同様に写経や数珠作りなどの体験ができます。
Both individuals and groups are welcome. Please contact us to arrange a suitable date.
